Mr Paul Peeters began his career at Philips Lighting in 1990 in the supply chain function. From 1996 to 2003, Paul worked in the commercial organisation in the Netherlands in various sales and marketing management functions. In 2000, he became the Managing Director of Philips Lighting in the Netherlands. In 2002, his area of responsibility was extended to include the Belgium commercial organisation. In 2003, Mr Peeters moved to the Lighting organisation in Asia Pacific. In summer of 2004, he moved to Singapore to his current position in the Lighting Division. He was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Philips Electronics Singapore on 1 January 2007. Mr Peeters holds an engineering degree from the University of Technology in Delft and an MBA from the University of Rochester, New York as well as the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
